Long-time Spine Surgeon, Dr. Paul Canale, to retire after 19 years of orthopaedic practice with Baldwin Bone & Joint

Daphne, Ala. (March 16, 2023) – After 19 years with the Daphne-based orthopaedic practice, Baldwin Bone & Joint announces the retirement of Dr. Paul Canale. Dr. Canale completed two fellowships, one in foot & ankle and the other specializing in complex spine surgery. With more than 20 years successfully treating neck and spine conditions, Canale also served as Founder and Medical Director of The Spine Institute at Baldwin Bone & Joint.
“In the practice of complex spine surgery, we so often see patients struggling with debilitating pain, resulting in depression and difficulty working to provide for their family. My goal was to relieve that pain and bring comfort and wellbeing to those in need. I am deeply gratified to have worked in partnership with my patients to see them transition from a condition of misery to seeing a relaxed, charming individual’s true personality,” Canale said.
