The Spine Institute at Baldwin Bone & Joint Expands Practice To Include Only Fellowship-Trained Minimally Invasive Neck and Spine Surgeon in the Region

Daphne, AL (January 23, 2019) – The Spine Institute at Baldwin Bone & Joint recently expanded to include Dr. Charles Gordon Jr., the only fellowship-trained neck and spine surgeon on the Alabama and Mississippi Gulf Coast who performs minimally invasive neck and spine surgeries in Mobile and Baldwin County. Dr. Paul B. Canale, medical director of The Spine Institute at Baldwin Bone & Joint, and Dr. Gordon, perform surgeries that offer faster relief from pain through smaller incisions, shorter hospital stays and quicker recovery times compared to traditional back surgeries. “Because of Dr. Gordon’s specialized training, our patients will no longer have to travel out of state for laser navigated neck and spine surgeries,” Dr. Canale said. “We now also offer complimentary MRI reviews for those who have been told they need spine surgery.”
