Therapy Services

therapist with male patient

Our unique approach enables you to rehabilitate more quickly while having fun during each visit. Ultimately, we believe that this will encourage you to stick to your goals and achieve optimal recovery. At any time of the day, it is common for an older patient recovering from a hip replacement to be working next to an athlete from a local high school.

This brings home the fact that Baldwin Bone & Joint Therapy is a place where people come to get better as fast as possible no matter what stage in life they are – no matter what their goals may be.

It is the daily mission of our therapy program for you to return to your everyday life as fast as possible. Whether your goal is gardening, knitting, running a marathon, or just getting back to the playing field, we integrate that activity into your therapy for a customized approach. The sessions are frequently varied making each visit interesting and productive.

Therapy Services Offered Include:

  • Cupping
  • Dry Needling

Evaluation Process

The therapists at Baldwin Bone and Joint are highly educated and skilled clinicians who evaluate and treat patients of all ages with the goal to reduce pain and improve or restore mobility.

The initial evaluation process is a concise and comprehensive assessment lasting approximately 1 hour, which fully screens the area that is involved with consideration of your medical history and other current medical conditions. With the results of your therapy evaluation, your goals in mind, and in conjunction with your physician’s medical diagnosis, we can formulate a specific treatment protocol to help you return to sports, work or other daily activities. We work closely with referring physicians to return patients to pre-injury levels.

We believe that you should fully understand your diagnosis and what the recovery involves. Therefore, along with the evaluation process, we will educate you on your specific diagnosis and explain what self-care techniques and home exercises will be important to maximize your rehabilitation.
